I'm currently using RIP routing but have all Cisco hardware and have heard EIGRP and OSPF are better routing protocols. Do EIGRP and OSPF use the same entry format as RIP for routes? How easy is it to change? Any things I should worry about or just do it?

all three routing protocols are similar to set up
if you want eigrp to be classless you have to add the no auto summary into its config. for ospf you must specify the wildcard mask for the networks...
thats about it. easy stuff.

How big is your network? How many routers do you have? Rather than just doing it, perhaps you should find out why you would *want* to do it in the first place. ;-)

Are you running RIP v1 or v2?
