I've got a small 2 router lab setup for my ccna. i've configured ip addresses etc, enabled clocking and brought up all interfaces. When I enable rip on either router and run debug ip rip I get the following in the log file:

RIP: ignored v1 packet from 192.168.20.1 (not enabled on Serial0)

any ideas what this means? none of the advertised networks are appearing in each other's routing tables.

thanks for any responses

cracked it - for some unknown reason i wasn't advertising the 192.168.20.0 network.

sorted now
