Ringing On Conference calls

I have a Nortel CS1000E and when on a Conf call once in a while user stats that they hear ringing. I have duplicated the problem but have no Idea what is causing this. Does anyone have any ideas what it can be. Nortel is working on this but still no luck.

sounds like cross talk - what type of switch? and are phones in conf IP or TDM?
