ring on busy?

Sorry this is a dumb question, but how do you change it so that if a user is on the phone, and a second call is made to them, it rings on the second call appearance? I am having a problem right now where if a user is on the phone, and a second call is made to them (xfer, outside call, etc.) it goes straight to voicemail. I looked under system parameters and station settings and couldn't find the stting anywhere.
 
You need to give them a third line appearance and then it will ring. The system is designed to always reserve the last call appearance to be able to transfer calls. So if you only have two, it will always send the second call to the first point of coverage.

Generally that's a coverage path setting.

Check the coverage path assigned to the phone. If the condition "active" is set to "y" for internal or external calls, it will go to voicemail if the phone is in use.

Normally, you would only set the conditions "busy", "don't answer", and "DND/SAC goto cover" as "y" for internal or external calls.

Restrict Last Appearance? y

This is the setting on the station form that restricts the last call appearance button to being used for calling out only. If you change that to "n" it will allow calls to ring in. However, if both call appearance buttons (of the primary extension number) are in use, the user would not be able to transfer a call... Unless the station has bridged appearances of another extension (which are not busy) AND the following option is set to "y"....
