Hi,

I just ordered a new ring generator for a shelf we have that didnt have one and I need to light up some analog lines.

Is it just push it in the slot and turn on the power switch on the card and thats it?

Opt 81C Succession 3.

Thanks

two switches on the ipe, the bottom is the ring gererator. don't plug the rg in with that swithh on.. the ipe will stay up, turn the bottom switch off, plug it in and turn it back on.. the card does not have a face plate switch

I dont see any switches inside the IPEs. The Ring Generator cards we currently have in other shelves has a power switch on it.

Thats why I was thinking as long as the switch is off on the card, can it be just inserted and powered on and thats it?

i don't remember a ipe without a power switch on the left hand face plate.. but age is a great excuss.. i would turn the self or the col off before i plugged it in
