Rights to Windows2000 Desktop

Hello;

I'm told at my new company that all users must have administrative rights on the desktop because of NDPS driver installation.

Also, they create a generic "user" for logging in, not the NDS name. I'd like to have the correct username on the workstation. What am I missing? NMAS?

ndps doesnt need any rights anyway

the lowest plep can install the printers as you have allocated the rights to the printer
you do need admin rights to install the iprint client though but that can be nal'ed
 
Thanks, this is very useful! Could you point me to any document on the NAL process for installing the drivers? That would hit the spot!
