Hi All,

We are running server edition select 9.1.3 which incudes a Rightfax sip solution.
I am having an issue when trying to pass through the dialled digits from the rights fax server to another Telco sip provider.
In other wards : The right fax sends 021 555 555 to the IP Office , the I Office needs to take that dialled digits it receives and send it to the Telco SIP
I managed to get the reverse working whereby calls I receive for the Telco can be passed onto the Rightfax successfully

In my sip line under SIP URI I changes the local uri , contact and display name to * and specified a and incoming group id 900

created a incoming call route
line group ID = 900
Incoming number = *
destination = .

created a short code of:
20N/dial/N"@IP address of the Telco".

In the trace a can see that the call is not attempting to go across to the Telco link.
its looking to terminate on the IPO with error 404 user not found.

Is my configuration a bit doggey...

Hello,

Has anyone done a tandem from sip to sip

You don't need to use * on the incoming number on ICR, just leave it blank to match all incoming numbers.

* = Incoming CLI Matching Takes Precedence

You could also post the trace so we see what's happening.

Do you use 20 as a dial prefix? Does your right fax dial 20 as prefix or doesn't?

Hi guys,

I tried leaving it blank with no difference.

As for the 20 - I set the rightfax to send an additional 20 (prefix). I then configured a SC 20 / dial / N"@ip address" to try and force over the Telco sip.
Trace on the Telco sip shows the call is not even reaching it.

I know this should work just need to find the right sequence n the routing.
I know the experts are able to help me :)

ok... I will go to site and get that info.

thanks for the help
