Hi, I am trying to make a revert dn route to symposium. I made a phantom cdn and treatment, completed scripting etc but when I put the cdn number in for revert dn, the message "that selection is not recognized." any suggestions on how to make this work? Thank you for your help.AJK

I have seen this.

Scenario:

I call your business DNIS 1234. I get someone's voicemail, "hey i'm not here, press 0 to speak to someone" I press 0 (a programmed CDN) and get this announcement "that selection is not recognized, and a disconnect.

What is your call pilot, sympoisum and switch release information. This is a patch fix.

John

to send a call to the symposium via revert, i have had it work on earlier rls's by making sure the revert was to an acquired cdn

Hi Janaya and John. I am using Meridian Mail and Option 11, release 13. John, I tried using an aquired phantom cdn but perhaps i have to use a real did, what do you think? Thanks for your help both of you. AJK

hi again, i tried with a real DID and got the same results. any ideas? janaya, do you know what patch is required? thank you AJK

I think I am out of options. I dont know what I am missing with regard to getting a cdn to work as a revert from mm to symposium. One thing I didnt mention is I was trying to put it on a MM tod. I now am at the point of utilizing an acd. One question, can an agent be assigned to more than one acd queue? thanks for any help.... my hair is falling out!!! AJK

Just figured it out and thought I would put it on our forum. The main number for the reception (key 0) had a revert of a number located on key 4 of reception phone. reception phone had revert of acd to go to symposium which needed to be changed to a cdn to route to symposium so specific skillsest could answer. Number on key 4 was associated with TOD routing on MM. The key is ALL numbers had to have the same revert (the cdn); key 1, key 4 and the two TOD definitions.AJK

makes sense, thanks for the update

My pleasure, its nice to answer a question once and a while (even if it is my own) instead of always asking!!! AJK

might be a surprise, but you are the best tech on that system. the rest of us know the systems we work on, we can only attempt to help on a system we can't study. your questions are getting a lot harder
