Hopefully there is a simple answer to this question. If someone calls a DN 1234 and gets a voicemail, and then they decide they want to option out to the admin, so they hit 0 to revert to the admin. What i want to know is if the admin is on the phone or not at their desk, can i have the call reverted back to the original phone number 1234. So that they can leave a message in the persons mailbox. Right now what happens is that once it reverts to the operator, it gets the admins voicemail.

Put SFA in the cls for the admin phone. This will steer the
caller back to the original VM.

Will this effect the admin from receiving voicemail that are calling directly to her phone?

Ok.. Here is what i have done so far. Maybe i'm doing this wrong from the get go.

I went into meridian mail and on phone DN 1234, under revert dn, i put 5555 (which is the admins DN). Now when you call 1234 and you begin to listen to the voicemail message, i hit 0 before i leave a message. It then reverts to 5555. The admin is on the phone, so it goes into their VM, instead of reverting back to 1234's mailbox. As you suggested, I went to my switch and under LD 20, under the DN 5555, i changed it from SFD to SFA. I called 1234 and it's still doing the same thing. Am i way off track on how to do this? thanks for your help.

When you press 0 & the call exits mmail, the call now has an id of 5555. I don't know of any way around that

if 5555 (admin) is a multiline digital set, use an unused dn
on a vacant key to revert to, say 5551, set lhk to include this key,
now add this dn(5551) to mailbox 1234 or set as voice services dn to express message 1234 mailbox.

admin will allways know they are getting a revert call from 1234 on 5551.

Another work around is
1) build an acd dn (add no agents)
2) set it as the revert dn for mailbox 1234
3) NCFW the ACD DN to ext 5555
4) Put the acd dn as another extension in mailbox 1234
When the calls leaves extension 5555 and goes back to vmail it will have the ACD extension as it's dialed number and go to mailbox 1234.
Good luck.
