I'm developing a costing database (Access 2002) and need to reverse a one to many relationship.

Here are the tables that are relevant to my question:

Quotes
Quote revisions
Products

A one to many relationship exists between (Quotes) and (Quote revisions) with quote revisions being on the many side. This is the way I want it because 1 quote can have many quote revisions. A one to many relationship also exists between (Quote revisions) and (Products) but quote revisions is on the many side. I want products on the many side because each quote revision could have many products in it. The products used in a quote will never be used in a different quote, but may be used in several quote revisions for a particular quote.

I know this is confusing, but if you can help out I'd appreciate it.

As you can only build the link on fields, you'll have to change the fields. You probably have a revisionId (unique) in you products table. If you make a productId (also unique) in your quote revisions table, you can make a one-to-many link based on that field.

Good luck
