Reverse engineering

I have a setup file I believe was created using wise. Is there a way to disassemble it to see what it is doing?

The easiest way would be to install wise on a workstation and open the file with wise. You should be able to poke around and see everything that its doing.
 
I am fairly confident that there is no direct way to reverse engineer a compiled install program. I just tried it to be sure, and I can't find a way.
