Reverse DNS

I cannot email to a specific domain due to the fact that this domain has got reverse lookup set on it by the hosting company.

Is there any way I can get around this ?

Yes, you get a reverse DNS entry set up for your mail server.

Wish it was that easy, I should have included in my post that my hosting company does not support Reverse DNS

Anyone who has thier IP ranges delegated to their DNS servers supports reverse DNS! It sounds more like they can't be bothered.

Time to change providers.

it's more likely they don't know what they are doing.

In order to administer reverse IP's you either have to contact the service provider (telco, earthlink, etc) and either have them make the necessary reflective changes for the ip, or if you have a block of ip's assign administration of the block to your dns server/dns host.

From there it's up to the dns host to setup the proper record for the ip/domain

Depending on how it's handled, reverse IP's can be setup in between 4 min - 2 days (*time varies with enthusism of host)

I do agree that you should consider looking into a new host if they are unable/unwilling to solve the problem as more domains are using reverse ip lookup validation until the senderID issue is resolved.
