Rev Drive Apps Anyone?

Looking for software to run with a Rev 35. Iomega fails to mention their software doesn't back up open applications. I need software that will back up as the user is working in various databases, while the databases are open. I have looked into the venders Iomega suggests but they seem like overkill for a single desktop user on Win XP. Anyone know of a good app for this purpose? THANKS in advance!

I use PowerQuest Drive Image 7.0 on my Win2K desktop at home to run weekly overnight backups onto an internal slave drive. This runs despite any / all apps running (including some very intensive online games). It enables you to setup backup jobs on a scheduled basis and runs within Windows.

I bought it online through Symantec's site (for around the $20 to $30 mark), although be advised it's tricky to locate. A number of other backup apps that they sell do not run in the same fashion or offer the same features.

Oops missed the Rev 35 bit - should state that I can't vouch for PowerQuest Drive Image on this front, but I believe that the software supports external and / or networked drives. Best check compatibility with Symantec yourself.

Hey thanks for the tip about PowerQuest. I checked it out and it is not what I am after - PowerQuest copies your entire drive by sector and appears it does not let you back-up only selected files or applications. I am looking for an app that lets me choose what to back up and at what intervals, while the apps are being used. Appreciate the reply though.
