anyone know what a errorlevel 997 from a 'cluster' command is ?
we are issuing the command from a .cmd file - the cluster service is being stopped correctly but a 997 is being returned....

the command being issued is

cluster res "resource name" /OFF /wait:"5"

it looks like ...
overlapped I/O operation is in progress (err 997).

try to use a larger value for the /WAIT option.
(config depending, try to move the resources to estimate
avalue that might fit) you can check the cluster log, that stuff might be helpful.

if that doesn't work you should give us more info regarding you cluster configuration (os, sw, resources...).

yep - increasing the WAIT fixed it !
