I've finally decided to engage with templates, (yes, I know I should've done this ages ago).

Anyway.

I've created templates for a site which already has about 30 pages. Obviously new pages will use templates, but is there an easy way to retrofit pages which originally didn't, or am I going to have to plough through all the old ones?

Ta. (Please say there is).

Don't do it 'cos templates are the wrong way to go, or don't do it 'cos they're apain to retrofit?

Templates are the wrong way to go. If you change an element of the template all 30 pages will have to be uploaded, not so bad with only 30 but if the site grows then this can be a pain. We tend to have certain elements in their own files, like the menu etc, then if a change is required its just that file to upload.

OK. I'll suss it out.
Thanks.

PS any decent documentation on this out there on the interweb?
