retrieving web page contents from SSL server

Does anyone have any idea how I can retrieve a web page's contents from an https site using vfp8? I have successfully done this using the win32 api from a regular http site, but cannot do this from https. I know the password and user name to use and have been able to do the equivalent from my browser like:

https://myuid:mypwd@mysite.com/mypage.html

How can I do the same in VFP?
