Restricting call to local and specific area codes

I am attempting to allow some phones to call our local area code plus two others. How should I go about this?

Change your toll list and add restricted numbers and setup the unrestricted call list

Create a new cor and set toll list in outgoing restriction
unrestricted call list will appear insert number of unrestricted call list you have done in toll list


Add this specific cor to your phones
But if your are not familliar with this stuff, it good have a real big impact on your switch so read the Advanced Administration book before

Thanks vamosal! These phones will be used in place of pay phones for outward dialing only. Should I just consider a new ARS location to keep it simple? They won't need to be used like internal phones.

yes it could be an idea but not usual since they are physically in the location. I prefer toll List restriction because you can have more tuning

In our country (France) i setup like this :
3 Location (Paris, Troyes, and Moroco)

each locatio has its own Toll and Ars

i setup unrestricted call list for each type of national dial plan existing number:
Local/regional Number
NAtional Number
Mobile Number
International
Country x
Country y
Country z and so on
Pay Services
Free Services

Only Urgences are not included in toll because they must not be restricted
On Each campain there's a cor for Supervisor, Agents, Manager etc
All cor depend on Toll List restriction
and depending on profile of agents/admim i have inserted number of unrestricted call list on their cor.
Sometimes very heavy to maintain but no security issue and no suprises on Bills...
