Hi,

Is there a way to block or restrict login attempts on an Avaya SIP endpoint? Trying to stop people from logging into other peoples phones

Thanks

Set unique passwords for each extension? It may not be ideal but could help solve the issue as long as no one gives out the password to their extension.

There's settings in 46xx that define what is shown/permitted from the options menu.

You can forbid logging off so there's nothing Bill can do to log the phone out from Bob and log in as Bill.

Otherwise from SM, no, there's nothing I know of that would lock a SM profile due to invalid attempts.
