How can I restrict access too the desktop for a user? I need to leave 3 folders so they can have access but the rest I would like is too have them hidden when they login. this is for windows XP

Thanks

Jim

Right click on the C: drive, select propreties, security, remove everyone, and just leave the users that should have access to this C drive except for the folders that you want them to have access to, and allow to propagate to from the parent to the child.

**Know that the desktop is located under C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Desktop, you might have to put those folders there or under their profile.

Hope this helps.
