restoring share folders

Is it possible to restore share folder to another server?

I have a server with about 100 user shares and would like to migrate them to another server. I have restored often back to the same server but never across servers.

Normal redirected restores do not appear to work? I am using 8.6 NT/W2k

the shares are held in the registry of the server

only way to migrate them, is to re-create them
