Hello all,

I am helping out with a project, and am fixing up some old reports for the client. One of them has me a bit bewildered, as I have never run across it before.

Crystal 10.0 Developer version. The report has the page header and footer removed, they felt it was not needed so deleted them. I want them for holding a text box, but dogggone if I can find anyway to insert an page header.

Can anyone tell me where in Crystal 10.0 I can insert a page header?

Thanks in advance.

Bob

I've not seen one deleted (otehr than in subreports not showing), perhaps it's shrunk up to a small area? they look like a wide line when this is done.

If you right click the details and select format section, do they show up in there as sections to be altered?

That is where it gets odder. The Section Expert does NOT show the page header and footer. They are truely gone, and not shrunk down.

I have neever seen it either, and to be honest, did not know it was even possible to do!

Never considered doing it as you can just suppress...

Sorry, wish I had a solution.

Are you certain you are not viewing a subreport? You can at least use the same method to create a faux page header as you can for a subreport. Create a formula that is true for all records, e.g.,:

whilereadingrecords;
1

Then insert a group on this and check "repeat group header on each page". Remove the groupname and use this group header as your page header.

Great Idea! I never thought of that. It will work for what I need.

Thanks!
