I had some stability problems with Asus A7A266, so I
downloaded the BIOS update. Well, the system crashed right
when I was updating the BIOS :(... now I stuck with the
Motherboard with deleted BIOS ... Does any one know how
to restore/upload BIOS ? Since the PC doesn't even start I
imagine that I have to use some special tool or go to the
tech shop ... any ideas/suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks ...

As far as I was aware it is impossible once the bios has been deleted for a home user to restore or rewrite the bios.
I believe that there is a bit of kit that the factory use to recode like a car radio the bios, E prom, I think it's called. But unfortunately it will have to go back to Asus if they do such a service? Try E mailing them? Martin (sorry man)!

is a great site... I had the same thing happen to me and I was able to have them ship me a new BIOS chip with the updated BIOS for my motherboard for $20 (us) shipping. Just make sure you get all the information you can about your chip and board.
