We have received some files split across two DDS tapes that need to be restored. The backup was taken in NT backup, and the first tape loads fine, but then after prompting for the second tape, we put it in and nothing happens. I believe that the second tape has become damaged or never had the right data on it in the first place, but is there any way of restoring the data from the first tape only, or is it as I believe and the entire backup set is requred before any restoration of files can take place? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
