Restores, Active status, but doesn't do anything

When I try to initiate a restore from a client, it sends it to the master/media server, the job goes active, but doesn't do anything. This is what the details pain says:

begin restore operation
1 images required
media <media id> required
media <media id> required


This is where it sits, doesn't error out, doesn't do anything. I verified that the tapes it is requesting is in the librarly and the volume configuration is up to date.

This appears to occur on any client, not just one.

What version of NBU are you using? I got this problem when I upgraded from 4.5 to 5.1. I was able to get the restore to work by rebooting the master and media servers and also my tape library. I had the same problem with another restore but this turned out to be a media mismatch. The recorded media id and the external media id were different for the tape.

Check to see if your media is in the library? Or available...

NB version is 4.5 FP6. I got it to stop doing that, reboot of the master/media server seemed to do the trick. Now the only issue I am having is the other media server's drives aren't working properly, it will load in the tape, it tries to mount it, it never does, then it downs the drive. I am thinking it might be that I need to blow away the drives from NB, then add them back in.
