Someone deleted a public folder on Monday. My thought is that I could do the following:

Do a full backup of the Store.
Restore the Store from Friday's full backup.
Copy the data I need to a PST.
Restore the store from the backup I just did.

My consern is what restore settings to use (Veritas 8.6) because they talk about the logs being replayed after the restore which would delete what I am looking for. There tech note ID is 244897

If you restore it will play the logs and delete the folder again :)

You must stop all stores in the group and remove the logs. Then you can restore. Do the same to restore the new data.

This works best. Dan

If you did a backup since the logs will be out of order. Whatever you do don't leave logs in if your not going to restore the newest backup. Dan
