Restore file from a tape not one of the days listed

trying to restore a file from a tape. when I go to restore it give me options of 7/22 and 7/25 I need to get a file from a tape on 7/23 I just want to restore a file from a tape Please help.

Are you sure the tape has the 7/23 backup on it. Have you tried running ...

RESTORE HEADERONLY
FROM TAPE = '\\.\TAPE0' WITH NOUNLOAD

to check that it does exist?
