Hi there,

I have a NT4 server running Backup Exec 8.6 which is also running print services. I need to restart the server as a user has sent so many print jobs to the networked printer that I cannot clear them, unfortunately Exec 8.6 is halfway through a 400GB backup which I don't want to start again! Can I pause the job while I restart the server?

Quick response is appreciated!

Hi,

Have you tried stopping and starting the Print Spooler service? This usually works when you delete a job and the job just sits in the queue with a constant deleting status.

(Smack) should of thought of that! Queue has cleared, thanks! Where currently migrating to Server 2003 so hoping printing will be more reliable.

Thanks again,
