I'm currently using a template which contains various cells and want to resize each cell individually. The problem is that when I resize one cell the rest also resize as if to "snap to". How can I overcome this? It does not seem to happen when I create a table from scratch.

the property of a table is that if a cell in a table is given width then all the cells in that column will follow the same width through out
