Resize/Format of Chart Legend Label 1

Ive read through past postings on Chart Legends but couldn't find a resolution to what seems to be a simple problem.

When I click on the Legend object the sizing dots appear allowing me to resize my label so that it's in the format:

X Availability Y Unavailability

and it seems to stay in this format, but when I save & close the report then schedule it within Crystal Enterprise it keeps reverting back to the format:

X Availability
Y Unavailability

Then when I open it up again within Crystal Reports it's in the old format:

X Availability
Y Unavailability

I have tried all the different permutations in Chart Expert and Chart Format but can not find anything relevant. Any advice/suggestions would be much appreciated.

It's been awhile since I played with graphs but I remember having the same problem. Under 8.5, I seem to recall that I had to make the changes under Chart Analyzer by right clicking on the chart and then select Chart Analyzer.

From the Chart Analyzer, right click on the field you want to change, then Format->Selected Item and make your changes.

Might give it a try.

Forgot to mention, the Chart Analyzer is only available under the preview tab only. It will not show up as an option in the design tab.

I believe that there's an option which appears after you've made a change. If you make your change and then right click on the chart you should see an option to apply all changes to all charts. It appears above Save As Template.

If you click onto Apply changes to All Charts, this should then keep the changes that you've made.
