Resetting queue in Pegasus Email

I have an email message in Pegasus, which i cannot get rid of.

I delete the email, but after i check/send all mail it reappears in the queue.

I can't edit it, either.
The queued email shows no subject, or body or addressee.

I've checked the pmail website but the answer to the prob is not in the FAQs.

I'm thinking maybe a 'damaged' file as a result of a minor crash [ & if i can find out the correct file name it is a probably just a matter of deleting it).

Anyone else had a similar prob?

Hi again Linney.

I did try both.
Got a message to the effect that a process
was using the C: drive & chkdsk would run on the
next startup.

It was prolly to late anyway as i had noticed the
message which kept coming up in the queue had a particular
timestamp. So in desperation i deleted the only file in
the ...pmail\ian sub-directory that had exactly the same
timestamp.

Oops murphy struck again.
This fixed the queue problem but sad sack i found
i had deleted the "familyFriends" email addresses folder.

Then i had to spend an hour or two going through old emails
& hopefully restore the email addresses folder.

It is possible in pegasus to [export] save your email contacts to text / delimited files & copy or [ import] them
later, but of course it was a while since i had done that.

having been bitten, i have now included the pmail\ian subdirectory in my xcopy...bat file which picks out various
dirs / sub dirs so i can burn backups.
