I agree, the last site is the best, you can also find a whole load of other Citrix resourses from their links page.

One thing I have found is that alot of the Citrix material available on the cramsession type web sites is still based around 1.8. There does seem to be a limited resource for XP available at the moment. There are also some books due to be released March / April time by the publishers Sybex International and Syngress media (I think?) There is also an "e-book" available from Realtime at A new chapter to be released each month, currently at chapter 3, although this isnt geared around passing the exam, it might make good reference material.....

I've been downloading those chapters - they are, indeed, very useful reference material. I'm currently upgrading my CCEA to the new XP versions - and this is a free goldmine!

I am currently CCA in 1.8. I have just been of a couple of XP courses and, like yourself, am aiming for CCEA in XP.
Have you taken any exams yet? if so how did you get on?
I am struggling to find a reliable source of info to help me through the exams. Other than the web sites you listed, what other resources have you used?

I had to skip the courses, my bosses are a bit cheap!
I downloaded as much cram stuff as I could from CitrixXPerience.com, and put it together with my existing experience. I also managed to borrow some of the course manuals from a couple of my instructor friends - but, to be honest, I only skim-read them.
So far I've done the MF XP CCA, to brush up my skills - I got 82%, which I'm very pleased with. At least 50% was the same as the 1.8 CCA, so you shouldn't have many problems. The pass mark is now 72%, so you've got to get one more question right to pass.
I did (and passed) the NFuse 1.51 exam last week. Again, it's 50% the old exam, so the cram stuff is very useful. The rest is all new, including Substitution Tags (about 5 or 6 questions), and new features - but I got all the information from the 1.51 Admin manual.
Program Neighborhood and Load Balancing next week.
I'm not really in a position to give advice, since I haven't passed all the exams yet, but I would say that it's helpful to re-read the old material, then bone up on the new features. It's worked so far

Update on Load Management and Program Neighborhood;
The old Load Balancing exam is fairly hard. You get several two page scenarios, and have to determine which options match the proposed solutions - like the MS TCP/IP (and other) tests. You also need to remember a lot of registry keys and their values.
Load Management is more straightforward. You have to remember the defaults, minimums and maximums for load evaluators and rules - which are all in the admin guide.
My advice on this one is do the sample tests - you can get 3 from Boson. Read the admin guide - and the Getting Started Guide, both downloadable from Citrix's site (the GSG is surprisingly useful for this test). If you've done the old LB exam, a quick skim through the old material will definitely help - but do that early on, and concentrate on the new features. CitrixEngineer@yahoo.co.uk

I also downloaded the 1.0 scripts reference and all the CTX docs I could find - but the exam was very basic indeed, compared with 1.0.
New features, CMC panes and the way in which IM handles packages are the key areas for this one.

How valuble do you think the CTX-410 course would be in terms of preping for the CCEA exams? It appears it only covers the 1.8 information and we are only running XP. I plan on taking all the CCEA exams within the XP track 931, 941, 951, etc.

If you're only running XP, then the CTX-2620 course is much more useful. If you do the old 410 course, you will learn the old ways and a big stack of useless registry keys (useless to XP, that is).
It doesn't cover RM and NFuse in detail, but it'll does give the basics, and will get you through LB&PN, SecureICA and IM. It would be possible to pass RM or NFuse via the online CTX dox (and some experience!).

I have recently finished my CCI, where the prerequisites are 80 % or higher on all exams.
The 220 and 941 exams have been changed, i.e. the question pool has been updated and the questions are not straightforward. As already mentioned above are lot mor of the scenario questions have been added.
I have also heard from a trusted source within Citrix that the 220 will soon be replaced by the 221 (FR2) exam.
The Admin Guides to 911 and 921 are extremely helpful. Most questions could be found within these documents. I would recommend that you work with the system (if possible) as well. Questions regarding paths to log files, default values, etc. were asked a lot.
I haven't found an Admin Guide to 991 yet, but was lucky since I work for a CALC and my mentor had the courseware. I would suggest reading the Advanced Concepts Manual and Best Practices, and whatever you can get concerning Advanced Administration, like cloning of servers, using the CSTK, etc.
My colleagues and I have found that Boson was not a good choice for us, and definitely not worth the money, as far as the 961 and 991 tests are concerned.

I haven't heard of anyone mentioning the "TransDumper" program yet, it's a very helpful program. I found it from some links on (another great site) and downloaded it from there, but I'm sure that you can find it from google. It's a activeX based program to take .txt files and pump them into a test style format. VERY helpful if you can get reliable dumps (ahem, and pipe them into text files. It works by looking for question identifiers (ie, 1. 2. 3., and a. b. c.) and grabs the "answer..." and creates the test from there, including radial button, and check box. The only downfall I saw is that it doesn't do drag-n-drop questions...
Very good program, high on my list of required viewing!
