required mailbox for administrator and postmaster? 1

Hi,

I'm in the process of cleaning our exchange malboxes for resigned and unused employees. I came across with the mailbox for postmaster and administrator. Are these mailboxes required by exchange? Is it safe to remove them?

Yes, it's safe. E-mail to Postmaster and Abuse should be deliverable, but don't need to be a separate mailbox.
