Obviously I can represent data in a chart in a bar format or line format very easily. But how do I combine the two so that some data series are represented in a bar format but other series are represented in a line format on the SAME chart?

Keith,

Yes this is a slightly different question as rather than representing trends (which thanks to you I have now resolved), I want to represent a different data series. i.e. One data series is shown as a chart, whereas superimposed on this I want to also show a line graph which has the same ranges on the x and y axis?
