The DBA connected us up to the Crystal Report Repository so now it prompts me for a login namd and password. Now each time I start a report or run a report. I am prompted to login. Normally I only have to login to the database server when I want to refresh data. Now I have to login to the crystal repository each time. This double login seems a bit annoying. Is this normal? Does it sound like it is setup correctly? Shouldn't there be only one login to suffice for the repository and the database server? Is there a report option or system option setup incorrectly?

Sounds like you areusing Crystal Reports 9 and have set up one repository on a database server so that all report developers can share the same one. This is normal behavior that you are experiencing. You should only have to log into the repository once per the opening of the first report in that session. If you open up the next report from that session, you shouldn't be prompted again.

You didn't state what database the repository was set up on. I bring this up because if you were using SQL Server, your dba could set up NT security which would allow for a seamless log on that you would not get prompted for. All you would have to do is set up your System DSN to use NT.

Yes, you are correct. I'm using Crystal Reports 9 with Oracle 10g. Thanks for your help.
