Repositioning Windows

Is there a way to reposition windows so that they don't open with the top bar off the screen? When I use my task manager the bar is off the screen and I have to use alt F4 to close.

if you want your taskbar on top:

click START
click SETTINGS
click TASKBAR & START MENU

(A window opens and make sure that "TASKBAR OPTIONS" is chosen if it is not the default one)

You'll need to put in a chechmark in the box for ALWAYS ON TOP. Also, you should make sure that there is NO CHECKMARK on the AUTO HIDE option.

Then, click on APPLY button and then close that window.

I don't think I posed the question correctly. When a window is opened - at times the top (blue area) is off the screen and I cannot close it by clicking on the X because it is not there. Thanks for the response.

try this move your task bar to the top of the screen, then select &quot;taskbar always on top&quot;. That should do the trick for now, otherwise, it's probably in the program you're running.
