Hi everyone. I'm creating a report in access using data from a few tables. I have a general table and a book table which are linked together by relationship using the Call Number field. The general table is the primary table. The problem i'm running into is that it is possible to have more than one book with the same call number. What I mean is that whenever there are three books with the same call number the report reprints ALL the data in the general table over again three times. How do I make a report that will see that if there are 3 books with the same call number to just include them in the same report. Thanks Someone told me to use the sorting/grouping option but it's not working like i wanted it to. It still prints each book seperately with all the information printed over again.
Short example
GENERAL REPORT
Book Number: 0502205
Book Name: Silly Goose
Author: Samuel Douglas
GENERAL REPORT
Book Number: 0502205
Book Name: Silly Geese Attack
Author: Samuel Douglas
GENERAL REPORT
Book Number: 0502205
Book Name: Silly Gooses II
Author: Samuel Douglas
...***That is what access is printing in its reports, what I want it to look like is followed below...***
