Hi

We recently added a remote site off of our VOIP system in another time zone. So now calls are being answered in two time zones via one PBX and CMS. Agents in both sites are skilled the same.

Is there a way to define the local time zone in CMS reports for the calls being answered in the other time zone?

Thanks

Do you have a location configured in CM for the remote site? If so you can configure a timezone offset and I believe CMS reporting for that location will display the 'local' times.

Has anyone tried this? I was wondering if it was successful, as we are having a similar issue right now.

Thank you!

That doesn't sound right.

If a call happens at 2:02 pm in a particular time zone, it doesn't matter what time it is in any other time zone.

If you log calls by time zone, then things then a call that happens at 2:02 pm in timezone X could be confused with a call that happens at 2:02 pm in timezone Y.

I think that the local timezone of the CMS is generally the "reference" time zone, and everything is calculated accordingly.

Carpe dialem! (Seize the line!)
