Report Writer / Preview

I am relatively new to Javascript. Is there such a thing as a good Report Writer that you could recommend that can connect to an SQLite database (on the server). The server cannot use PHP or ASP, it is a tiny homegrown system. Perhaps there is a Report WRiter that could be launched / executed using Javascript.

What you are asking is somewhat out of the realm of javascript. Database queries/manipulation is not javascript's forté. However, AJAX has given javascript more power for such things, although this is still usually coupled with a server side language such as PHP or ASP. It may help give you a nudge in the right direction tho.

No. You're getting well beyond the realms of practicality (or even possibility) for a purely JavaScript application.

Is there some reason as to why you are unable to set up a PHP server?
