how can i create a report that looks like a spreadsheet
with collumn and row and have the lines showing like in excel .i'm using cr 8.5 ans sql database
I export my file as a CSV file. When the user opens it, it comes up in Excel. Of course, that means that the user must have Excel installed on their desktop.
I have done it the old fashion way and drew lines. The vertical went from the group or page header down to the group or page footer depending on the style of my report. Detail A section would have my data and Detail B section would have my horizontal line.
