I have two tables connected via "customerid". In the first table "customer" i get the name, adress, phone number etc. and I have placed that informations in the details section.

The second table "contactperson" I have different amounts of conatct persons which I will get in the report.

If I place the name field of the conatct person also in the details section I geht only one contactperson per customer. What I'm doing wrong?

I don't know exactly what you mean but I have linked the two tables via the database expert

yeah thats it, if you go onto the links tab and right click on the lines going between the two tables you can then click link options, this shows you the type of join that is being done between the tables

ok, i think that thats what they should be. Is customerId the only link you have? occasionally crystal will automatically link by field type, you will be able to see if it has done this in the link tab, make sure there is only one line between the tables going to customerId in both. Other than that im out of ideas!

You need to use a left join FROM the customer table TO the contact table.
