report print setup in win2k and win95 problem

I recently purchased a win2000 computer and after installing all the required patches the fpw26 program works fine. However I found that in the win2000, the print setup for reports only caters for "default printer" instead of another option to print to "specific printer". I now develop the program in my win2000 computer and in some reports, I set the printer ( or prior to the move to win2000) to "Generic/Text" only. But when the user executes the report in their win95 computers, the output generated is based on their default printer despite having a "generic/text" printer on their respective machines.

What I wanted to do with such a report is to generate a text file which will be appended to a memo field for further processing.

If there is no solution to the above problem, how do I insert character values in an array of say, 30 rows and then append it to a memo field?

Any help would be appreciated.
