Report Preview with Win NT problem

i have application which is developed in ver FPW2.6a. When i run the reports win'95 win'98 machines with preview i am able to see the fonds, but with window NT server i am not able read the output of preview.

any suggestion would be appriciated.

What fonts are you using? They may not be the same or even installed on NT. It's important to only use standard Windows fonts or at least ones that you have rights to re-distribute.

Also what Service Pack level is NT running at? (For 4.0, SP6a was the last.)

Hi,

The fonts which i used in the report is there in the NT machine also. In NT i have almost 243 fonts.

I am using the service pack 5.0 for NT.

any suggestions.

I had to change my hardware acceleration settings to get them to work on my NT 2000 box. Go to the display settings, click on "Advanced" then "Troubleshooting" and move the "Hardware acceleration" slider to about half way. This worked for me.

I don't have the option of advance in NT4.0 with service pack 5.

any other suggestion.

Another frequent problem with Report Preview and FPW2.6 is the actual video driver you are using. The more Advanced, the less likely it will work. (I use the term "Advanced" loosely, remember that in the Peak of 2.6, 1mb was an "Advanced" video card). Dave may be on the right track, but instead, go to properties, set your video setting to 800x600 or 640x480, and 256 colors. See if that solves your problem.
