Report Header

I need a report cover page for my report...so I wanted to use the report header (im guessing)...but the problem is it is greyed out and shaded as if it were hidden...

how do I unhide this?

Right Click in the left portion of the window were it says "Report Header". When the pop up menu opens, select "Don't Suppress".

The report section in shaded because it Suppress option is on. It means this section will not be shown or printed. Right-click on the grey area where "Page Header" is written. Then select "Don't Suppress".

why do you have to suppress a Report header....if you need a report cover page????

Hard to understand why this is necessary??? If it is because you have other fields in this area that you don't want displayed....just suppress those fields.

Suppressing fields does NOT mean they don't get involved in calculations...the suppress is just for the display
