Report data not refreshing when database updated

Hi all

If I access one of my reports from the web it displays the data fine. If I then make a change to the database and open the report again the data doesn't refresh. The only way of getting it to refresh is to close any internet browsers to clear the cache, reopen them and re-access the report. Is there any way I can have the report data refresh every time it is accessed without clearing the cache each time?

in file menu uncheck the option save data with report
and then save the report.

or

in code write the statements

"reportobject.discardsavedata=true
reportobject.refresh"

before previewing the report

Thanks, but I haven't saved the data with the report. I'm new to Crystal so it could be something really basic that I'm doing wrong.

What about the lightning bolt? Should a report update automatically or does the user have to click the lightning bolt?

Its all behind a firewall and proxy. Could the proxy be caching the data?

you can use the lighting bold; however it will prompt for a user id and password. You probably have to create parameters to pass into the report.
