I am a Nortel tech and have a customer with a AVAYA Difinity PBX.
They currently have in-band signaling D4 AMI T-1’s 24 voice channels on each T-1.
There new service provider needs to change this to b8zs esf ISDN 23 voice channels and 1 D channel per T-1. There are 2 T-1’s and each will have there own D-channel.All 46 trunks will be in the same trunk group. Thanks Jeff

You will need to provide the software version of the PBX (display capacity, last page or next to last page) to determine what hardware is required. You will also have to verify that the ISDN-PRI feature is enabled (display system customer-options).

Thank Kevin for the fast reply. I stopped by today and got the following information.

The Software Load is G3VSi.01.0.025.4
Memory Configuration G2siV7
Offer Category B

The ISDN feature is enabled.

They currently have 3 T-1s. I did a list configuration ds1 and the code for 2 of the cards is TN2464 vintage 18 signaling robbed-bit, CSU Mod= none.
The other is at a remote location and is a TN767C vintage 23 robbed-bit CSU-Mod= N/A
