Replacing CPMG/CPDC

Is there a documented procedure for the replacement of these cards on a working system?
If not have any info would be helpful in regards to propmts used.

The maintenance section in the NTP's has procedures for replacing equipment.

Thanks KC. I must be getting old becuase I cannot find any info on replacing these cards in either 7.0 or 7.5 Maintenance.
Please help.

The CPMG and CPDC cards would have Linux loaded on them and then the different applications deployed onto them. If you have a bad card then the replacement process would be very similar to the install process. You would load the linux base, put the 3 base patches in and then deploy. It's not like you can just swap out the card and go on your way. These systems get harder and harder to work on with every release. You will also probably have to remove the existing server that you are replacing out of UCM prior to reinstalling so you can use the same host name.

You should be able to load both of these cards in an open slot. You just need power to the card. Get a backup of the existing card(s) and build that back into the new card. Once you have the cards ready, I would remove the old cards from the security domain, and then undeploy the applications and then replace the cards with the new ones, redeploy the applications and then join the security domain.

I am assuming that you have the co-res setup on the cpmg and then a follower signaling server on the cpdc? You are right, not much documentation on these cards.
