Okay.

Due to some bad programming, the records of two of the fields within one of the tables of our database is littered with carriage returns.

Now normally this isn't a problem, but when i export the table to .csv format, because of the carriage returns, one record is now spread over multiple lines.

What I need to do is replace the Carriage Returns within the table with some sort of delimeter i.e. a semicolon.

Is there any way to do this? Find and replace doesn't help. >_<

Often, the carriage return is accompanied by a line feed. Chr(13) is the carriage return and Chr(10) is the line feed. Use the following expression in an update query.

Code:
Replace([YourTable]![YourField], Chr(13) & Chr(10), ";")
