Replace serial number

My company has several copies of Photoshop on OS9 all with registered serial numbers. As we know duplicate serials may conflict. Is it possible to replace just a serial number without uninstalling the entire app? Can I just edit a preference file with the correct number?

Hi,

You will have to un-install and re-install to replace the serial unless you can code in Hex and hack the registry to change it, even then I don't know if that would work.

Partial solution - I found that short of totally uninstalling on a mac you can delete just the application file and custom reinstall the app. file, which prompts you to enter a serial number.
