Is there a shortcode that can be used in the ARS for the outbound caller ID settings?
I would like all calls except to 911 to show caller id 1234567890 and all calls to 911 to use caller ID of the DID.

Currently on our PRI outbound calls follow
Code Tele# Feature
N; Ns1234567890 Dial2k1

except when calling 911 and those calls follow
Code Tele# Feature
911 911S123123E DialEmergency

is it possible to add to the SIP trunk shortcode currently
9xxxxxxxxxxx; N"@000.000.000.000" Dial
to send the Caller ID of the primary # vs the DID?

The only setting I've used for SIP caller I'd is the SIP setting on each user ( contact etc). This doesn't give the ability to do what you need. Im not even sure if the S short code feature works for SIP CLI

jmlee,

May need to know more about your set up, but you can likely do this by creating two more channels on your SIP URI tab and creating a unique OUTGOING group number for each channel.

On the Local URI for each outgoing group, enter whatever phone number you want to send as your caller ID in the LOCAL URI, CONTACT, and DISPLAY fields.

Then on your ARS, you can route the outbound call to the unique group number corresponding to the caller ID you want sent.

DavidCT using two separate Channels on the SIP URI tab does work.. as you mention... i can route calls with ARS out one channel when i want the outpulse of DID and out the other channel if want the main number to outpulse..

Problem is, the IPO thinks you now have 20 concurrent call paths... right? So if you have 10 paths on your sip trunk the IPO will try to let 11 callers call out?

No, if you only have 10 valid sip trunk licenses then it won't try the 11th

This is how we are setup, we have line group 200 setup on our SIP to withold CLI and line group 210 setup to use user data. We then just route to each ARS accordingly.
