I have a user who we had to restore some data for and when it was restore the date last modified was incorrect. They are showing some very strange dates, anywhere from 1980 to 2199 as the year. The way that windows sorts when you use date modified it uses the last 2 digits of the years, well you could imagine how this would mess everything up.
Anyways I have found that these files seem to have the correct "date last saved" on them. I was wondering if anyone knows how I can replace the date modified with the date last saved. Basically copy the file information for date last saved and put that in the date modified tag information.
I know that as a work around I could add the date last saved column for sorting but I would rather fix the problem. Any ideas or programs or scripts that would do this for me?
